Pastel Impression of Early Autumn, Montclair

This is my first attempt at a landscape, sketched and blended with chalk pastel. The original painting is called Early Autumn, Montclair. This was painted by George Inness in oil on canvas. I chose this to practice because of the bold tones of peach, orange and yellow he chose to use which I feel, gave this painting a warm inviting glow.

pita, your colors are bolder, yet softer
than mr inness.
would like to see an original landscape
so you can show us what you see,
rather than what mr inness has seen
or what you have seen in mr inness.
