This was from my viewpoint gazing up from underneath of a Maple tree. This is a very small section.

Pastel Impression of Early Autumn, Montclair

This is my first attempt at a landscape, sketched and blended with chalk pastel. The original painting is called Early Autumn, Montclair. This was painted by George Inness in oil on canvas. I chose this to practice because of the bold tones of peach, orange and yellow he chose to use which I feel, gave this painting a warm inviting glow.
